According to UNICEF (2020) ,Around the world, nearly one in three children – roughly 663 million – live in poverty. On average, poor children worldwide die before their fifth birthday at twice the rate of their better-off peers.
I chose to study poverty in Africa. Three interesting things are:
There are more that 40 countries in Africa facing poverty.
There are millions of children being forced into child labor that is very dangerous.
Poverty in Africa is caused by different factors than other places. They are dealing with war and genocide as the leading factors that causes the issue of poverty (Compassion , 2020).
In order to end poverty, this will be a team effort in making sure there is clean water, food and also safety for the children of Africa.

Hello Dorothy,
The information that you shared was very good. It is so sad to see families struggling that are in different countries. I really love this organization because it can help people all over the world.
Hello,
Thank you for sharing about poverty in Africa, my aunt actually travels to Africa about once a year to help out I think it's called Choice Humanitarian or something. She absolutely loves going there and helping out.

Africa is a country that is seen on tv with so many families that are struggling with healthcare, education, and diseases. I know there are others but this country is what I am seen most. The organization that you chose provides many services to provide for children that are less fortunate. Thank you for the information
Hello Dorothy,
Thanks for giving some information about the struggles in Africa. When I was younger, I remember my parents being a part of the Feed the World mission. It's so sad to see that there are millions who continue struggling with everyday living.
