It is important to have a strong support system. In my everyday life, I rely on my friends, my family and even some colleagues. Running a daycare center, there are times where I need to vent about the stress in my life and job. The support system offers me advice on getting out of difficult situations and also providing a bit of counsel if needed. It is important to have a support system to help you think about things in a different perspective, provide guidance and also offer some expertise or direct you to other resources that can be of help. If there were no support system available for me, I am not sure how my life would be. I don't think that I could have the piece of mind that I have now. You always need someone that can be a listening ear or offer you guidance. It is human nature to rely on others.
A issues I would need support with is handling a difficult parent when it comes to their child's behavior or level of learning. I would need advice if I have a situation involving safety and moral issues. I would need support if I had a child needing additional support because I believe they have a disability. Support systems are critical in any type of field or day to day living. You need a strong support that has your best interest in mind.
Hello,
I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to run a daycare. To be honest, that is one of my dreams, to run my own daycare. I really love children and want to be able to offer them a safe haven. I respect the dedication you have been providing to families.
Having that support system to vent especially after a long, hard day's work is crucial to our sanity. Great Post!!

Hello,
It is great that you have a support system to vent to about running a daycare center, it can be a very stressful job. I agree that you always need a listening ear, we need to be able to get things off our chest even if the person doesn't understand it. Thank you for sharing your opinions on support, you made some great points.
