I chose to look at UNICEF for my article research and its poverty with African children and families. They also lack educational resources because of extreme poverty and war. There are a huge percentage of poverty stricken children that lack education due to their financial status. This is important in educational development because the educator needs to understand the environment of children they will come across. In reading the information on the website, I did not find any controversy. This website pointed out important information that was fact checked and provided resources. UNICEF fights for the child and their rights to grow, succeed and flourish in their environment. The political stand point is trying to find additional resources to help the children of poverty stricken countries. The UNICEF website focuses a lot on poverty and ways to make change. This is important as an educator and learning the types of environment the children are exposed to so that you can better help them in the future.
Hello,
It is hard to believe that education is something that many people are unable to have due to poverty. Thank you for sharing about UNICEF and its many resources to help change and get rid of poverty.

This website makes me so feel so sad because education is very important for the children. I pray and I hope that they are getting the correct education that they needs. It really saddens me also to know that they don't have a lot of resources to help with education.
Hi Dorothy
