When I Think of Childhood Development

"Education begins the moment we see children as innately wise and capable beings. Only then can we play along in their world."
This quote is inspiring because it describes a child exactly. We must communicate and relate to them on their level. Only then will we be able to understand them and not what we are trying to make them become.

I want to send a personal thanks to all of the bloggers I have written to. Tanya and Latoya, I have really enjoyed what you have contributed. Good luck to everyone as you continue your journey. It was difficult to only pick two because everyone brought something unique to their blogs.
Hello Dorothy,
Thank you for all your valuable and varied shares.
“The best way to make kids good people is to make them happy.” –Oscar Wilde,
Greetings Dorthy,
I enjoyed reading your quote. All children are capable of learning new things and discovering the world. Although children are unable to express what they are learning at a young age, it's amazing how much they are able to learn through play as well as interactions with other children. Young children learn to imitate things in their environment and develop vocabulary by listening carefully to conversations. As a caregiver, it's important for us to expose children to play and encourage them to become lifelong learners.
Hi Dorothy,
When we begin to see the world through the windows of a child’s vision it becomes the best form of interaction with them. As educators, it is important that we develop an understanding meeting their needs. Thanks for sharing.
